Synopsis:

The case is about the assessment of an investigation report prepared by the loss adjuster (Asiatic Adjuster Sdn. Bhd.) by the claim manager (Azizan) of a Takaful operator (Universal Takaful Berhad) on an industrial all-risks insurance claim to determine whether his insurance company has the liability towards the loss experienced by its policyholder (Classy Tech Machinery Sdn. Bhd.). The insurance claim arose when the power generator (equipment insured) owned by the policyholder was being stolen at its customer’s (Cosmic TelCol Sdn. Bhd.) telecommunication site in Seremban.
