Synopsis:
Syukri first ventured into business by establishing Le Roselle Cosmetics and SPA. In September 2004, he set up Damai Industries Sdn. Bhd (Damai) and when business expanded, he later set up Z-Line to support Damai business operations, particularly on marketing activities. However, this case study focuses on Damai, as it is the core business of the group and has the potential for expansion. Syukri looks forward to sustaining his business empire through continuous improvements and re-strategising his business initiatives. For that purpose, a few fundamental issues, including financial management, internal control, marketing, strategic management and the need for entrepreneurship skills, are highlighted
